Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using ShadowCoder ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Software.

2. License Grant

2.1 License Type

Upon successful payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Software for personal purposes on devices you own or control.

2.2 License Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software to third parties
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Software for any illegal purpose
  • Share your license key or account with others

2.3 Device Limitations

Your license allows activation on a reasonable number of devices for personal use. We reserve the right to limit activations if abuse is detected.

3. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We retain all ownership rights, title, and intellectual property rights in and to the Software, including any updates, modifications, or enhancements.

4. Updates and Support

Your purchase includes access to all future updates at no additional cost. We provide email support at support@shadowcoder.ink. While we strive to respond promptly, support response times are not guaranteed.

5. Refund Policy — NO REFUNDS

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason.

Because ShadowCoder is a digital product that is delivered instantly upon purchase, we cannot offer refunds once the product has been accessed or downloaded. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have reviewed the product features and specifications before purchasing
  • You understand that digital products cannot be "returned"
  • You waive any right to a refund or chargeback

If you experience technical issues, please contact our support team before initiating any dispute with your payment provider.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the Software at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SHADOWCODER, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

8. Intended Use and Disclaimer of Responsibility

ShadowCoder is designed as a productivity and learning assistance tool. You are solely responsible for how you choose to use the Software.

We do not endorse, encourage, or condone any use of the Software that violates:

  • Academic integrity policies
  • Employment agreements or hiring processes
  • Any applicable laws or regulations
  • Terms of service of third-party platforms

We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from the misuse of the Software, including but not limited to academic penalties, employment termination, or legal action taken against you.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Share your license with unauthorized users
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or crack the Software
  • Engage in fraudulent activity

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShadowCoder operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the Software after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
